3 Days Ngorongoro Budget Camping Tour
Day 1: Arusha - Ngorongoro
Depart Arusha in the morning arriving in the Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy
in time for lunch. In the afternoon we board a 4x4 wheel drive with
pop up roof and descend 2000 ft. to the crater floor in search of
wildlife. Overnight at Campsite outside the crater.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
Breakfast and depart with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour.
Explore the crater which has one of the greatest concentration of
wild game per kilometer. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Ngorongoro - Arusha
After breakfast depart for Arusha arriving by lunch time.

Ngorongoro Crater
Called the natural zoo or the eighth wonder of the world, Ngorongoro
is the largest intact calderas in the world. Very steep walls rising
610 meters from the crater floor surround it. The crater it self
covers and area of 265 km and the whole park covers an area of 8,2885qkm.
It is a home up to 25,000 larger mammals almost half of them Zebras
and wildebeests. There are also gazelles, buffaloes, elands; heart
beests warthogs, and others. Carnivores here are hyenas, jackals,
foxes cheetah, leopards and Black mane lions 100 species of Birds
not found in Serengeti have been spotted here. Countless Flamingoes
from a pink blanket over the soda lake. This crater has been declared
a world Heritage site. Within Ngorongoro where Olduvai Gorge is
located. A home of man. And to the North is Loony Langue Mountain
a gray forbidding perfect come that is a still an active Volcano.

3 Days Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Day 1 Arusha - Ngorongoro
Pick from your Arusha hotel in the early morning and depart for
the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive in time for lunch then proceed to
descend into the crater for an afternoon of excellent game viewing
before ascending for dinner and overnight at one of the lodges just
outside the crater.
Day 2 Ngorongoro
After breakfast, taking picnic lunches with you descend down to
the crater floor for a full day of tracking game with your guide.
The crater is 670m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest
in the world. The crater contains all the big five; hippos, cheetah,
antelopes and spotted hyena. Black rhino and leopard can only be
seen with luck as the two are extremely shy and elusive.
The birds seen here include eagle, vulture, and
flamingos in the crater lake, stork, bats, giant vulture, sacred
ibis, kori bustard, blacksmith plover, long necked heron and the
cattle eagle. Other game such as vervet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock
and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare can be seen with
relative ease. You will have a break for lunch at the Ngoitoktok
springs picnic site. In the evening you will descend up and out
of the narrow and steep crater walls, which is a thrilling exercise.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3 Ngorongoro - Arusha
After breakfast drive back to Arusha for lunch, bypassing maize
and coffee plantations in the crater's immediate environs.
