Day 1 Arusha - Ngorongoro
Pick from your Arusha hotel in the early morning and depart Arusha town for the Ngorongoro Crater, "the 8th Wonder of the World". Arrive in time for lunch then proceed to the crater floor for an afternoon of game viewing, flashing out the numerous wildlife species that are to be found in this natural wildlife arena. In the evening drive up the crater walls to one of the wildlife lodges for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Ngorongoro
After breakfast, taking picnic lunches with you descend down to the crater floor for a full day of tracking game with your guide. The crater is 670m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest in the world. The crater contains all the big five; hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Black rhino and leopard can only be seen with luck as the two are extremely shy and elusive.

The birds seen here include eagle, vulture, and flamingos in the crater lake, stork, bats, giant vulture, sacred ibis, kori bustard, blacksmith plover, long necked heron and the cattle eagle. Other game such as vervet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare can be seen with relative ease. You will have a break for lunch at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. In the evening you will descend up and out of the narrow and steep crater walls, which is a thrilling exercise. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3 Ngorongoro - Arusha
After breakfast drive back to Arusha for lunch, bypassing maize and coffee plantations in the crater's immediate environs.

Day 1 Arusha - Lake Manyara
Pick from your Arusha hotel and depart for Lake Manyara National Park for game drives with picnic lunch. The main attractions here are the tree-climbing lions and the thousands of flamingos. The park is small in size but the terrain is diverse. The vegetation comprises of groundwater forest, open grassland, swamp and acacia woodland with giant mahogany and fig trees. The park is home to a wide variety of mammals and birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara View lodge situated on the escarpment overlooking the lake.

Day 2 Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, taking picnic lunches with you, drive to the Ngorongoro crater and descend down its walls for a full day crater tour with a picnic lunch. It is a thrilling experience to descend down and out of the narrow and steep crater walls of 670 metres depth, which has earned this crater, also the largest in the world the title ''the eight wonder in the world''. Flamingos can be seen seasonally in the Crater Lake, depending on the water level as these birds only breed in shallow water. Many animals, which have made this crater their permanent home, can be seen on the crater floor. Dinner and overnight at a lodge at the edge of the Crater.

Day 3 Ngorongoro - Arusha
After breakfast, depart the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for Arusha to arrive in time for lunch.

Day 1 Arusha - Lake Manyara
Pick from your Arusha hotel and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for afternoon game drive. A good network of tracks and roads in the park allows excellent viewing opportunities. Animals seen include buffalo and elephant. Other animals present that can be seen with luck are the tree climbing lions, leopard and black rhino. Lesser flamingos and Egyptian geese are some of the birds seen here. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara View lodge situated on the escarpment overlooking the lake.

Day 2 Ngorongoro
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro crater for a full day of tracking game with your guide on the crater floor. You will break for your picnic lunch at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. All the big five may be seen. Other species encountered are cheetah, Grant's and Thompson’s gazelle, common zebra, wildebeest and the spotted hyena. Flamingos may also be seen at the crater lake. This day will truly be an unforgettable encounter. Dinner and overnight at a lodge outside the Crater.

Day 3 Ngorongoro - Tarangire
After breakfast leave Ngorongoro for Tarangire National Park which serves as a dry season refuge for animals from as far north as Serengeti and Ngorongoro as it has a permanent river flowing across it. The park has an atmosphere of remoteness and has fewer visitors than the other parks in Tanzania's northern circuit. Arrive in time for a game drive; lunch will be taken enroute. The park contains all the big five except leopard. Other migratory game seen here includes cape buffalo, hoopoes, lovebirds, starling, rock pythons, albino giraffe, puff adders, the fringe eared Oryx and the gerenuk. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 4 Tarangire - Arusha
After breakfast proceed on your final game drive then leave for Arusha to arrive at this Northern Tanzania Tourist Capital at noon.
